For us, a good idea strikes a balance of familiarity and newness. And that’s what we tried to achieve with our 911T “Lucky Strike.”
When we found this car, we were fortunate to discover a 2.7 RS spec engine under the lid. So when it came to restoring it we wanted to give the car more attitude and more soul to match.
We painted the car GT Silver metallic to make it sleeker, more modern and enhance its lines. We introduced bourbon leather and cork carpet from later 911 models to create a rich contrast against the black interior trim.
We added more black wherever we could. From every nut and every bolt to the suspension and exterior trims and emblems…this was our way of evoking a subtle sense of power.
